Kathy is joining the fight to abolish the cruel and inhumane carriage horse industry in NYC. She has partnered with NYClass.org who have designed a vintage electric car to hopefully replace the regal glorious horses who have to navigate the brutal trafficky smog laden NY streets. The glorious animals plod on cement for sometimes 18 hours a day and their hooves are separating from their feet. They get spooked by horns and congestion on the busy streets of New York City and have put themselves, their passengers and other drivers and pedestrians in danger. Three have keeled over in midtown this year.
